About
It’s all happening…
Who We Are

My name is Mike. I’ll be your guide around this little corner of the internets. Based in South Eastern MA, I’ve been a Craft Beer (Damn right we capitalize it) enthusiast for the better part of the decade. I also work in the industry, so I keep my ear to the ground.
Basically, I’m going to aim for some honest, upfront beer related shit here. Reviews, brewery profiles, store profiles, interviews, roundtable sessions, festival coverage, and a whole lot more. There will be nudity and animal exploitation. There will be hanging from the rafters and nonsensical babbling. There will be MS Paint drawings. Many virgins will be sacrificed for the sake (and integrity!) of this esteemed online publication. There will be drunken knifefights and drunken dogfights (If you want to enter your dog, please hit me up. Cash bets only.), but first and foremost will be beer. The sweet nectar of the gods. The subtle alchemy that, when imbibed ensures that you wake up next to the most hideous thing you could stumble home from the bar with. I aim to give honest perspective! No more snobbish, pretentious ‘holier than thou’ reviews! I say up with the people and their opinions! We want quality and a bit of humor! We want many a pint raised in celebration! We want good feedback, proper appreciation and wondrous happenings in the nether regions! If that double IPA that you just had gives you an erection, I want to know about it. Well, not the erection but the IPA that gave it to you. Sicko.
Many things will be happening, so check your coat at the door, grab a pint and enjoy. Email address: mike@thebestbeerblog.com. The door is always open. Let’s get down to business…
Welcome to The Best Beer Blog.

I love beer, I love people and I love all things tech! My name is Paul, owner of an IT Consulting company in Massachusetts, former champion bobsled racer and downhill slalom qualifier in the 1980 Olympics. Ok, I might have made a few of those things up, but I’m not telling which.
I’m a married man with a handsome little 9-month-old boy (as of this writing but we’re still not sure if he will continue to age). So ladies, let’s keep the hands off. Pictures are ok, but just no touching.
I’m a strong entrepreneur at heart. I love interacting with people and I love tech…so when this idea for T-Triple-B came to fruition at one of our local watering holes, I knew it would be a winner.
We are a group of motivated, fun and smart guys that just want to do something that we love and I look forward to the adventures that I’m sure this venture will takes us on!
I would like to leave you with a little motivational piece my grandmother use to say to me:
“Arrgh you steal from me Timmy, were is my peanut butter slippers and spaceman wallet…sniffle, roar”
Ok, she was a little crazy, but I think we can all understand what she was really trying to say.
If you want to get in touch you can send an email to paul@thebestbeerblog.com or find me on Twitter @phooley.
Goodnight Everyone,
Paul

Boss: Hey I like you, you’re funny
Me: Umm thanks?
Boss: We kill the funny ones last.
Me: Uhh ok, good to know.
That was one of the first conversations me and an old boss of mine had, so I continued to try and be funny. Not to fit in or to make people laugh, but because I was constantly living in fear of my boss coming into my office dressed like a clown (don’t ask) and holding an AK-47. Yeah that’s pretty much my life…
Other than that things are good. I live in southeastern MA, I love beer, have an awesome girlfriend and two little boys. But, they can’t drink for shit, so I have to rely on my friends.
So anyway, one day Mike, Paul and I were sitting at a bar, (no surprise there) and decided that we need to start a new venture. Granted this is a venture that has almost zero chance of ever making any money but gives us an almost 100% chance of frequently getting drunk. On that fateful day TBBB was born.
My responsibilities are simple. Besides being the good looking one, I handle the majority of the social media around here. Facebook, Twitter, the internet, etc. I also work with Paul to do the backend stuff. Setting up events, getting advertisers (someday) Paying money to the mob, killing strippers… You know, business stuff.
Well, that’s me in a nutshell. The address is joe@thebestbeerblog.com or you can also get me on twitter @JOEYC. I’m also usually posting the stuff on the @thebestbeerblog twitter account. We’re all pretty accessible here so just drop us a line.
Cheers,
Joe
